Previously, I had posted a poll asking how many brands might launch their new smartphones in September. Most of you voted \’4\’. But that\’s not the case. We\’re going to witness more than 4 launches in September 2020, and here\’s everything about it.

Samsung :

Samsung launched their  \’Note\’ series 2020 flagship, Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra in their virtual event \’Unpacked\’. And also teased the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 2 in the same event, but didn\’t launch it then. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is going to launch in their 2nd Event, \’Unpacked 2\’. Unpacked 2 is scheduled on 1st September 7:30 PM IST i.e 10AM ET.                                                                                                    We might also get to see one phone from their M and A series each. Most probably the M51s. But this is something that doesn\’t have any kind of confirmation unlike the Unpacked 2.

realme (Realme) :

Realme have been teasing their new smartphones since a while. Though, many leaks confirm most of the specs and pricing of their upcoming smartphones. realme (Realme) is going to launch their realme 7 and the 7 Pro on the 3rd of September. The leaks reveal that the realme (Realme) 7 is going to be powered by MediaTek\’s Helio G95, which is quite a good upgrade over the G90T, which was featured in realme 6. As per leaks, we might expect the same Snapdragon 720G on the 7 Pro. Both of them might have the same camera setup with very slight differences in their 3rd or 4th sensor. There are 2 big upgrades for the 7 Pro over the 6 Pro: One being the display, which is now AMOLED instead of IPS-LCD and the other is Wattage of the charger included in the box, which is 65W over  30W, which can make a huge difference.

Oppo :

We are going to see yet another offline focused smartphone from Oppo in September. It is going to be their F17 Series, i.e. F17 and F17 Pro, both of whose ads have been seen on YouTube. The F17 Pro might probably be powered by Helio P95, of course, it isn\’t a performance-focused phone. It might also feature a 48-Megapixel Quad Camera Setup in the rear and a 16 Megapixel Selfie shooter. The launch is scheduled for 2nd September

Xiaomi :

How can anyone even dare is miss Xiaomi in this list. Recently, after the launch of Redmi 9 Prime and the Redmi 9, Xiaomi is now going to launch a much lighter version of both, the Redmi 9A. It is expected that Xiaomi launch this smartphone at a cost of around 7K to 8K as they already have a lot of phones is the 9 and 10K segment. As said, it\’s going to have very basic specifications and might be a good deal for first time smartphone buyers. The launch is set to happen on the 2nd of September.                                            We might also see the Redmi K30 5G coming to India any soon. But it doesn\’t have any official confirmation

Poco (Sub-brand of Xiaomi):

Poco has teased the launch of their next flagship killer, the X3. There aren\’t any leaks regarding their specs, expect that it\’s going to have NFC The launch is scheduled for the 7th of September.

OnePlus :

There isn\’t any kind of confirmation about this: Just expectations. OnePlus might come up with their 8T and 8T Pro, which probably will have a better performance compared to OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.

This ends our list of brands that are going to launch their new smartphones in September 2020. But, we still have a special mention: Apple. This needed a special mention as it was set to launch the iPhone 12 in September. But due to some reasons, they may not be able to do that. This info also isn\’t confirmed. Apple might all of a sudden launch their new lineup and start sales a bit late.
