We\’ve seen Honor\’s amazing mid-range smartphones in India which provide incredible value for money. But after the ban of Google on their smartphones, there is surely a dip in their sales in the smartphone industry. However, they\’ve come up with something new to India\’s market: Laptops (Ultrabook)

There was  ZERO expectation of Honor entering the laptop industry. But they\’ve entered it to create HAVOC. Honor recently launched its Magicbook 15 in India, which I feel is one of the best deals right now. Honor entered the Laptop market in India at a perfect time when people were in maximum need of it with the introduction of online classes and WFH (Work From Home).

Specifications :

I\’m not going to waste your time by listing everything. Just some highlights :

  1. The performance powered by the Ryzen 5 processor is phenomenal. This coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and Vega 8 Graphics, gives you a buttery smooth experience with day to day tasks. It can also handle intensive tasks with ease. Overall, it provides you with a great experience with day-to-day tasks and casual games, but not AAA titles.

  1. As the name suggests, it has a 15\’\’ display with a resolution of 1920×1080. The display here isn\’t the best, but it\’s quite good, at least better than a few of the competitors.

  2. The main highlight here is the form factor: It weighs just 1.5 KG even after packing a heavy CPU and aluminium build.

  3. The cause for dip in sales of Honor Smartphones was that there was no Google. But here, there\’s nothing like that. It comes with Windows 10 onboard and you are safe to go with it. No adware, no extra apps, nothing. Just clean Windows 10.

  4. After the lockdown being imposed, there\’s a  significant increase in video-conferencing. And for this, it has a webcam which pops out from one of the keys on the keyboard, which is quite COOL.

  5. Honor claims that it can be charged up to 53% in just half an hour through the 65W charger.

  6. To increase security, it has Windows Hello, that allows one to use fingerprint to unlock the PC. The fingerprint sensor is located on the Power Button, which makes it quite comfortable and not off reach.

Finally, coming to  PRICING: The Honor Magic Book 15 is priced at 42,500 INR, which is just mind-blowing.

THIS IS A MUST BUY FOR ONES WANTING A MID-RANGE, ALL-ROUNDER ULTRABOOK.
