This is going to be a detailed review of the realme 6 : How it performs in daily life usage.

Firstly, this smartphone was launched as an upgrade to the realme 5 Pro and not the realme 5 (\”The new pro\”). It is a decent upgrade over the realme 5 Pro, in most of the aspects.

The Build:

The build here is quite good, although plastics, makes a good in-hand feel. Glass would be more preferable, but realme have cut corners here to keep the price aggressive, especially in this price segment. On the front, it has the Corning® Gorilla Glass 3, which might be a slight downgrade from the realme 5 Pro which has Gorilla Glass 3+. But that barely makes any difference in real life situations. The sides  are also plastic which is quite expected at this price range. It also has a Side-Mounted fingerprint scanner which works very fast and is very effiecient.

The Design:

This part is totally subjective. Even then, the design here is unique and gives a premium feel. It is far better when compared to the competition. realme have done a great job here. It also comes in 2 colors : Comet Blue and Comet White.

The Cameras:

The realme 6 has got a quad-camera setup: a 64 – Megapixel  f/1.8 Samsung GW1 sensor which does really well in nicely lit areas. The second one here is the 8 – Megapixel Ultra-wide angle  f/2.3 lens with a 119° FOV, which also performs quite well  but with a slight compromise with detail. The remaining 2 are just to attract the customer. Though, the 2 Megapixel Macro camera performs pretty well. On the front side, it comes with a 16 Megapixel f/2.0 lens, which produces decent quality images.

The Performance:

This is a BEAST when it comes to performance. With the MediaTek Helio G90T, it is undoubtedly an amazing experience while doing intensive tasks like gaming or video editing. This, being a 12NM chipset, heats up a bit during highly-intensive tasks, like playing graphically intensive titles like PUBGM or COD. But, as far as my experiance, I haven\’t had a bad time with it during intensive tasks.

The Battery:

The realme 6 has a 4300 mAH battery, which is a nice upgrade over the 5  Pro. It also comes with a 30W VOOC Charger in the box, which is really fast and get 0% to 100% in 55 minutes or an hour.

The Software:

Many people do not consider the software while purchasing a new mobile. There are brands that have become popular only because of their amazing software experience. The realme 6 comes with realme UI, which is built on top of Android 10. The experience here is amazing as it close to stock android and lets you uninstall annoying pre-loaded apps, which is quite handy.

The Final Verdict :

The realme 6 comes in 3 variants : 4GB+64GB; 6GB+64GB/128 and 8GB+128GB. The 4GB+64GB costs 14,999 INR, which is a great deal if you have a budget of 15K. It\’s an all-rounder with great specs and a young, energetic software that provides a buttery smooth experiance.
